Chaeban Ice Cream Delivery Driver & Rover

This position is focused on the timely transport and organization of Chaeban ice cream and cheese products. You are a crucial member of the team – delivering to customers and helping all staff members get the supplies and products they need to do their jobs!

Chaeban Ice Cream creates award winning, super-premium handmade products. All our products are made here in-store with Manitoba-produced milk (from Stonewall) and only premium ingredients. Chaeban makes (at least) 18 different ice cream flavours – including classic dairy ice cream & dairy-free recipes. Chaeban Artisan Cheese is a second product line created in-house, that includes 6 unique and deliciously hand-crafted cheeses.

As an Ice Cream Rover you efficiently receive inventory requests from store and production staff, communicate clearly about your anticipated timelines and any barriers to timely delivery. We offer a fast paced, fun & sometimes challenging work environment. The right person for this job enjoys being busy, is adaptable to new requests throughout the day and is excellent at communicating clearly with team members.

Skills required:

• Valid driver’s license
• Able to lift and carry boxes
• Remain friendly and calm in a high paced service environment
• Dependable & reliable
• Positive energy, good listener
• Enjoys helping out and being part of a team 

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Independently manage daily list of required tasks
• Manage and organize the walk in coolers at the warehouse/store
• Move inventory items as requested (ice cream for the store, production supplies for the kitchen team, finished products for customers)
• Maintain a clean warehouse, refrigeration and storage area
• Sweep warehouse and delivery areas as required 

Job Location: 390 Osborne Street   Details: Full time, Monday-Friday, ~9am-5pm.

Wage: $15.80/hour to start
